Depends really on your video driver.
nVidia is slow. ATI is fast.

This is really good but the resolution is what slows it down.
1600x1200 is beyond HD. It would look the same at even 1024x768 and use a fraction of the CPU.

It's beyond HD on a HD TV, but not on a 20+ inch monitor. There are plenty of dreams available, but fewer hi-res dreams. After seeing a few dreams get pixelated when blown up to my desktop size, I decided to make my dreams match my desktop resolution.
I will begin creating low-res versions of my dreams in MPEG2 (1152x720 or 1024x768) so everyone will have a version they can use.
