High Dynamic Range Imaging. It's a new feature in Bryce 6 where you can use an HDRI image (google for some, that's what I did) 
as the sky and it reflects off of objects. It's pretty cool. I never had much luck with it in C4d or 3ds Max, and not much luck even in Bryce since this one.

looks terrific.....lovely one......I've just downloaded my freebie Bryce 5 and have no idea where to start!....think I'd better head for the manual!!.... makes me appreciate this even more..........
