Adding new Animations to DeskScapes 11
More than three dozen new options.

With the calendar ticking over past the 2026 milestone, we are kicking off the new year with a bunch of betas including a big update for DeskScapes 11.
In beta now, which you can download by logging into your Stardock account and clicking the beta link under downloads or from Object Desktop Manager, are more than three dozen new effects in the update app.
Once installed, click any of the backgrounds that you want to apply the style to, then click Effects on the left and you will see more than 150 total designs that include the more than three dozen new in this beta release.
Listed below, you will find all the new items and in a future update to DeskScapes 11, we will make it easier to search and see what items are new – let us know your favorites or any styles we should add to the app.

This is one of many updates coming this year to the portfolio of applications made by Stardock. Currently in beta we have updates for Start11, Groupy 2, Connection Explorer, Object Desktop Manager, and more.

I've always thought an animated "wispy smoke" could be nice.
A "shift" function could be useful, to shift the entire wallpaper or dream to get the center to either edge, with a left/right slider control. I'd guess it would create a mirrored effect on the vacated area.

This looks great!
Windows 11 is adding .webp to the list of formats Windows can use for Desktop backgrounds. It would be great if this format could also be added to DeskScapes.
