Any good reasons, advices (is that a word?), or rationales will be appreciated.

I think you guys are married to the wrong women
Jeez, it sounds like your lives have ended just because you are married.
My husband and I spend money on our own toys. I like it when he wants to buy something, because I can always then justify my cheaper toy that I want. He buys a $6,500 snowmobile, I get a $3,000 camera. See how that works?

But I want it anyway!!!
I will probably catch the least grief if I just save for it.

Just break out the Visa and go for it! After all...that's what America is all about...Getting the best toys we don't need, with money we don't have, to impress people we don't know! That's how us MEN do it!

| Well, I can always wait another year for them to come down in price a little more. |
My dad always said, (when it comes to new technology) Wait one to two years after the technology hits the common market. By then the price will have come down to a reasonable range and it will be more affordable.
Thus far, most everything in the technology market has done just that, come down to more affordable prices.
Plus, the wait will make the end result that much sweeter.

Also a good excuse for having a girlfriend
just kidding| you could always sweeten the blow with some ideas of how to spend an equal amount of money |
Leo's Idea is a good one. My wife and I spend on ourselves the same way. So when I want a new toy, I just have to decide if I can afford to double the cost.
