A small personal, prayer request...

I hate to get too personal here but I know a lot of kind and decent folks read these threads and so it is to your hearts that I speak...
Please, if you can...send a small prayer...good vibe...good thought etc. to my two little nephews (ages 7 and 2) who lost their daddy to suicide yesterday evening. (My eldest nephew was the one to find him).
I'm just in complete shock...and horrified. I didn't/couldn't sleep all night.
Anyway, I won't drag this out...I'm just feeling so heart-broken for my nephews right now...Those poor babies have been through so much already...and now this? I just can't fathom the selfish act of suicide especially in that way...it hurts me to the core...
Please lift these innocent babies up in your heart and keep them safe with your prayers...they will need it.

I'm so sorry. Always tough when tragedy strikes. It seems the children are always the ones to suffer the most. Wish life would run smoothly with no illness or tragedies. Our prayers are with the family and the little ones. May God grant everyone the peace that passest all understanding.

There is a long road ahead for all of you, the best I can recommend is faith, love, honesty, and as much openness as possible. Later on, a surprise disclosure of the facts is worse than living it through twice.

I'm deeply sorry to hear of your loss and that of your family Angela, but I pray that you lean to the Lord in these troubled and confusing times for the strength to continue on so that you may be a shepherd to your nephews whose loss is unique to everyone else's. Just a few verses which you may find some solice and understanding so that you may continue on:
Praise be to God . . . the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God....II Corinthians 1:3-4
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.....Psalm 34:18
But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.... I Peter 5:10-11

Prayers from ANY heart of ANY faith are MORE than good enough...I make no judgements about religion...Just as there is no need to judge your brother when one has fallen by his own hand...That is left up to the higher power to decide...

PrincessHirmer5167 is just shocked, I can't imagine anything like that, the little kids are the same ages as my Grandchildren, what a tragedy, my prayers are with you all. This seems to be a great family here at WC, I'm sure we are all praying for you and the family.
