Suggestions for 2014 WC Community Project

Tuesday, February 4, 2014 by Island Dog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009.  I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

https://forums.wincustomize.com/363398/

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite.  Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer?  Another holiday?  A different type of theme?

Lets hear it and discuss it and get moving on the next one.

Well, if I can get the error, I can fix it.

What OS?

XP pro s.p.2

Hmmm....well, Wiz says he has o problems with my weather on XP. But, alas, I do not guarantee XP support.

I will see what I can do, have you tried a fresh download?

Is it the only one that does it?  Let's take this to PM, please.

Like I mentioned. I have the list I believe is complete with all the uploaded links. So now for some advise please. I don't know where it's going from this point.

Should I copy and paste it here or should I upload it to my Dropbox and supply the link? If I copy it here you can all check it out and C/P it yourself. It's in ini format so anyone can open it. Let me know.

I say post it here, if there is still someone wanting to contribute they can see what's been done.

Put it here, Dave. Please.

And in doing so, make sure you hit the spacebar after each link, otherwise, they won't be links.

These are all good links but some didn't light up.

Dave, go back and edit, place your cursor at the end of each link, hit spacebar, watch em light up.

I have the list

who took..... my list...    I'll tell Po'.... he's usually.. the keeper... of.... the list...

thanks Dave...  great job...

RedneckDude
I personally don't like ObDock 2. From my end, all you gain with 2 is reflections

thanks for that...  going back... reflection ain't enough to put up with that interface.... but at least I have both now...

RedneckDude
While you're at it, you misspelled Metall.   Matall

now if he'd spelt it Mattel... would have thought he was just... toying... with us...

My OCD is dying to fix those links, but I suppose I should wait and see if Dave does it.

I was wondering why I'm up there four times then I remembered I made four skins. A minor bout of senility. Lol

Knock yourself out. Still one not working. Some of us go to bed at night and get up early. I do understand Rednecks do their own thing.

A minor keyboard problem. These key board letters jump around at times when i press them.

I have it working up top now in the full list. I'm a little slow at times. Age I guess. No quoting  of this required.

Thanks Doc. It was a full community effort for sure. Well done by all.

I was hoping that one of the community members who has some experience with Rainmeter would happen to stop by.

Well, I have seen no experienced ones , yet, so, I downloaded Rainmeter this morning, yes, a newb at that also, and have this so far.

I am not lost but would like some input from an experienced skinner in that area if anyone would like to assist.I guess I could just give what I have, but, I would like it to not break anyones pc!.Rainmeter

Excellent job of listing the skins DaveBax, but you might want to look at two of the links under Rainlendar at the top, they appear to previews and not links to the skins download page.
