Suggestions for 2014 WC Community Project
Tuesday, February 4, 2014 by Island Dog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009. I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite. Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer? Another holiday? A different type of theme?
Lets hear it and discuss it and get moving on the next one.

I was hoping that one of the community members who has some experience with Rainmeter would happen to stop by.
Well, I have seen no experienced ones , yet, so, I downloaded Rainmeter this morning, yes, a newb at that also, and have this so far.
I am not lost but would like some input from an experienced skinner in that area if anyone would like to assist.I guess I could just give what I have, but, I would like it to not break anyones pc!.Reduced 35%Original 1680 x 1050

Well I have a question. There was talk about making a list with all the links of the different graphics. No one came forward so i did it. now the list is just sitting on this thread. Was just wondering why the list was even asked for?

I'm thinking ID will do a thread to officially announce it once it's completely finished... that was my take on the request, anyway....
we are still awaiting Matchbook for her wallpaper which is in progress.... and Ace for the icons he offered in addition to letting us know his Icon Package 'Everwood' matched well.... though haven't heard from him in a while...so not sure if that is still on... Ace?
but Matchbook will effectively bring about the completion of the Suite... and as we all have different timeframes to work within... don't want her stressing to finish it prematurely.... but I'm sure it's not too far away....
so..... a little more patience 'til we all get over the finish line...
(Matchbook... if you have got caught up with other things... we can always add your link later... just let us know how you're going... looking forward to it...
)

Hey all, made a new Rainlendar today, or finished it, and as I was informed via pm a couple days ago, my Metall Tech Rainy's have a couple issues I missed because I did not know what I was doing!
I since have figured my mistakes and now have a grip on this thing, but, I do not want to fix them at this time.Is that bad?
Am I lazy?
I just have so many projects started, I hate to backtrack. What do you all think?
{I fear the answer,lol}

If the issues can be fixed easily then I say go ahead and fix them. One of the things with community projects, along with coming together as a group, is learning new things. Even when the project is considered finished fixing bugs or issues with an update would, I'm sure, be appreciated by the community.

Nah, not lazy... going gangbusters... but you can't really leave something up that's buggy....
What were the problems?... anything you could share to save others starting to learn Rainys now from the same pitfalls?
Rainmeter's lookin' nice.... good to see you branching out.....
