Suggestions for 2014 WC Community Project
Tuesday, February 4, 2014 by Island Dog | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk
The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009. I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite. Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer? Another holiday? A different type of theme?
Lets hear it and discuss it and get moving on the next one.

I've upgraded to 2 this afternoon... but not sure I like the new way of doing the settings.... and not to be able to just scroll quickly through the icons & have them instantly show flicking down the list...but have to stop and click and choose each one... is an absolute pain... I mostly don't choose by name.. but by just matching up... this takes wayyyyyy longer...
still, suppose it's better to update.... but I prefer the design of the previous one I must say... and a few things like..... Keep on the bottom.. and they don't... is very frustrating...
hoopees not to late ! maybe you could recover the old version from a backup
or install it again from http://www.filehippo.com/download_objectdock/8443/
personally I'm keeping both versions 1.9 and 2.0 just in two different folders
well I cannot use the 2.1 version because it's only for W7 and W8 !

thanks frankell... but I'll stick with it... don't want to have to be adjusting new docks that are made now on 2... I'll see how it goes...
just the scrolling inability being lost is unfortunate... not sure the people who change these designs... really use them frequently themselves to know what features are valuable against what can be changed/improved...
thanks for the option link to get back 1.9 though...might come in handy...

List just updated this morning. I know RedneckDude still has something not listed yet. Zoom docks are coming that I know of just waiting to grab the link.

haven't spotted Matchbook yet... hope she's checking back to see we're near the finish line...

so, it's really just Matchbook's wall and Jim's Zoomers and a few assorted widgety gadgety
things to come... that right?....
and one more wall/logon from me in next day or so... and...I think... we're nearly done...

Zoomers, Clock gadget and widget, multi gadget and widget coming today.
My zoomers work well with both versions of ObjectDock.
I personally don't like ObDock 2, but I have both installed. I don't actually use ObjectDock, I only skin it.
From my end, all you gain with 2 is reflections, but the GUI isn't great and there is a convoluted workaround to get the plus and minus icons to work. So, I prefer 1.9.

I have the feeling that Matchbook is gonna knock our socks off. It takes time to render a true masterpiece. I can't wait....

>.< lol.. No no. No masterpieces here. Just hacked efforts presenting themselves as cohesion. lol

I was hoping that one of the community members who has some experience with Rainmeter would happen to stop by.
