Great to see it working.
I dont have Vista but I can already see I dont like what they have done to some of the intereface...I hate that search bar on the start menu, none of my logon buttons will be used and it looks like they revamped the toolbar and user pane...UGLY!
What looks like the status bar is huge!None of my skins are going to look right on Vista.

Oh well...sometimes you gotta change your ways for progress.
Good job on Windowblinds.

SOOO glad to see that Stardock is caving to VISTA! That's sarcasm folks! This version of WB doesn't work correctly in IE7, EVEN though promises were made that the animations of WB WOULD work in IE 7 with the release of 5.5. Well, skinners, quit wastin' ur time with the animations for your beautiful creations, cause they don't work in IE7!!! Still!! What's up with that STARDOCK??????

This is for 32bit right NOT 64bit ???

From SDC's history:-
5.50 Release
-----------------
Technology Preview with support for 32-bit Windows Vista (no 64-bit Vista support in this iteration).

Working smooth as silk here.

Ever since I started using Vista I've been amazed at how good older skins look even though they were made for XP not Vista. Well done

Mr Maggot: Animations should work with IE7 on XP.  Unless something broke in a final beta, they are working fine.

Works really nice and everyone should atleast try it. For Vista it is a new world opened up for everyone to enjoy!

Looks like I found a little bug too. Taskbars aren't translucent on startup on XP.

Maybe everyone using this on XP shouldn't. Its clearly labeled for Vista, I see no sign of XP updates there other than geting the new wbconfig layout.

Astyanax0: XP had updates too.  A number of behind the scenes tweaks as well as the new wbconfig UI.

Regarding the non IE7 animation skinning, we are looking into this.  It was certainly working in one of the betas of WB5.5

Ah ok, I figured this was strictly a Vista update, nevermind then

I just updated my laptop from Build 85. I tested the animations before updating and they worked fine. After updating they did not work. Sorry I wasn't running a later build to help narrow down the problem but I use WB too much and don't like riding on the edge.

Well okay 5.5 is here and it works...somewhat. My question is why does it not skin WMP11 on Vista Ultimate? I have it specifically excluded now but when it was applied none of my covers would show up until I excluded it from being skinned. Hope there will be a fix for this soon?

Is this a free update for those of us that bought 5.1? Or do we have pay for it again? If not....where do we log in to download it?
