I'd still like to get the standalone version if that's possible.

Its nice they include skins, to show off any changes. I agree though its an extra step to delete them if you don't like them, but it really doesn't take all that long to do.

I'd say in this case that if it ain't broke, don't fix it. The build currently on my machine is - 5.10.021. Here is the info:

WindowBlinds 5.1 System Information Report:

STATUS : WB+ SRV+ HLP+ UI+ TRAY+

WindowBlinds is installed correctly on this PC.

WindowBlinds appears to be activated on this PC

Your machine supports per pixel borders on WindowBlinds skins.

You have one monitor in total.

(NEC AccuSync 75F) 1 is attached to Intel(R) 82845G/GL/GE/PE/GV Graphics Controller

Wbui.dll 2005/12/06 21:29:06

I have an older Compaq. XP Home - SP2. 512 megs/RAM. The graphics are built in. I can't afford anything better for sometime.

The last time I updated WB it worked OK but I didn't like the Configuration window. I like the Configuration window in the build I have now.

To sum this up: I am very happy with what I have now. All the skins in my library work just fine (there are a lot of them!). Is there really any reason to update at this point?
