I think you should have chosen a better wallpaper to animate. It's a tiny waterfall and it's off in the distance, while the rest of the wallpaper is in front of the waterfall, making it so it doesn't seem to blend in well.

I love this. Not too fast to be distracting and the effect is seamless, if this was made from a static background.
