It would be really nice to have a calendar that actually sent an alert to remind of appointments

It's great but norton has detected a malicious script(Object text file)This has never happend with any DX object/Theme ect..(I noticed your running a new build of DX may be this could be the prob?I got the newest SDC has to offer at the moment . i don't know just a thought)I'll test it out some more but i figured i would let you know anyways...

McAfee also doen't like the script. Also there is a white window, I assume for notes that won't close.

OK - to address these:

Reminder can be set when creating an appointment - just set the number of minutes in advance you want to be reminded.

Script warnings: This is because the appointments are saved to a file on the hard drive (c:\calendarapps.txt). It's safe. Authorise it on Norton and you'll be fine.

White box: does this show appointment data when it exists? I'm on a 2.1 beta here where i have set it to be hidden. I may need to add an explicit Object.Visible = False if it shows for you.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting some sleep now (1am), but will check back in the morning. Martin

The Window moves when you move the calendar. You can type data into the window. Right clicking the window does nothing. The window does not close.

Martin - wonderful image as usual and very nice on the appts. The window is visable right away with no clear way to hide it from view when desired. I love the ability to scroll through the months.

Thank you for your time and effort, very useful

Oh ya style isn't exactly my type, for one the size, but I'll just make my own version out of that. It's amazing that you figured out to do reminders etc, however!

Can those seeing the white window try this version (www.martinconroy.freeserve.co.uk/DX_Calendar_app2.dxpack) and let me know if the box has gone?

Also, working on an Outlook version. Shouldn't take long.
