I know they gonna make it, because they do what people wish, money 4 them, satisfaction 4 us....
(and that's OK!!)

Look!!!!! i know there is options, i realy know "control panel" but... why exist cursor xp? cuz, give us more options, quality, and make it easyest , you don't have to change cursor by cursor as in control panel, you only click the pack
JUST THINK IN NEW SOUNDS *FX IN RELATION WITH OUR SKINS, EXAMPLE:

isnt that an oxymoron?..LoL
Sounds and programmed sound events are basically very easy to change, just go to Control Panel and click on "Sounds and Audio Devices" then on the "Sound" tab..you can replace or add any sound you like within reason, no problem...
As for the sounds themselves, there really are a TON of WAV's, MP3's etc, etc, for free on the web, and if that isnt enough there are programs you can use to "Rip/create" your own...
Alot of the WB's come with sounds, but some dont... But you know, I think sounds really arent an essential part of "Skinning" and I just have to disagree with a "Library" for them at WC, since it is a "Skinning" site after all, not a MP3 or music site..
Just my own thoughts,
Zero.

Ummm... Not everyone thinks it's nice. I, for one, can't shut them off fast enough whenever an idiot program thinks I need just one more sound.
Starting with windows itself. Yes I find all thoses beeps, chirps, horrible sounding midis, etc. very annoying.

Which is why no one is suggesting Stardock release a program that forces you to use sounds.
Many people don't like WindowBlinds, and yet, Stardock continues to develop it. Imagine that.

Isnt that the free "Theme Manager" program for windows 98 desktop themes? I used it for years as well, but the developer stopped updating it and it is not compatible with XP as far as I know...
::laughs:: I still have it stored away on one of my CD's ...

I was trying to make a point that not all people like sounds & that sounds should be defaulted to off, not on. You know, offering a differing view point.

Okay, but I'm still not sure what the point is. This thread is about Stardock developing a sound manager. If that doesn't interest you, then you simply wouldn't use it. I don't use most of ODNT, because most of the programs don't interest me. But I don't spend time trying to stop development of those programs I don't want. Rather, I try to encourage development of the programs I *do* want.

Desktop Architect v2.11
Pros:
The best of the best little desktop theme tools all wrapped up into one great program. Other than the fact that it's FREE, the outstanding features are just too numerous to list every one here. After extensively testing Desktop Architect's nearly limitless features in comparison with Microsoft Plus!
Cons:
This program is not fully compatible with Windows XP.
Heres the link to the site and program with the full discription..
If it is the same program this is news to me!...http://www.themedoctor.com/da.shtml
Zero.
