| made the entire thing up.. I was just bored and wanted to say something..anything..soooo... Having to turn the "Auto" feature to install updates was all a huge farce..will anybody ever forgive me? I was just trying to fit in and be one of the crowd..sheesh Kona busted me..::sighs:: |
It's not April 1 yet!

However, I'm still not sure if you're being sarcasic or not even after your words above! If it was a joke it wasn't that obvious - if not, then I'm with Kona - I get updates fine without auto turned on.

I was having a bit of fun, it seems Kona likes to keep me in check upon almost every thread I get involved in.
I actually did my weekly updates a couple days ago and that was what happend, I was not allowed to proceed until I closed the browser, turned Auto updates on, then returned to the update site to install the available updates.
I cannot imagine that I am the only one in the entire world that MS decided to do this to..LOL!! (that would be bordering upon extreme paranoia, wouldnt it?)
Perhaps it is not something that is fully implimented yet?..I dont know, MS works in mysterious ways!
MS also sent me an Email telling me about all the good reasons to upgrade to SP2..I dont imagine I am the only one in the world they would do that to either.(Filed in the "Round" file")
It isnt that big of a deal to "turn on" and "Turn Off" the Auto feature, just kind of annoying to have to do it.
Anyway, Chris..it was pure sarcasm and just a bit of fun born out of mostly extreme boredom..thats all.
Zero.
