You young lady are far from stupid...
Something else that comes through without knowing it is taking place happens to be self perception of the context in which someone posts.
Anyway...
I did read up and found what I think this thread is based upon. You have no reason to find fault with that post. Some took it wrong and some didn't, those that did will figure it out and learn from it or won't and that is their loss.
I guess what I am saying is do not take others baggage upon yourself as your own because it tends to get too heavy and no one expects it of you and you should expect it of yourself least of all...
