@ Old Crab

Time is everything... so why would time be such a factor if the whole test was not focusing on a very small part of what make someone intellegent?

I feel that IQ tests as well as many others only focus on specific tasks and abilities given a certain amount of time. What if someone is slower at doing math does eceptionally well with dance and inter-relationships? What if science was slow learner and math but once answered does better then the one who answered faster?

Granted speed and time has to be limited, but a test given under 2 hours can not speak to your total intelegence.

Not to mention the fact that the test was for that day. What if you feel better tomorrow? What if you hit your head? What if you don't like tests?

Intellegence is how you carry yourself, can ask a educated question, communicate, live, work, relate things you learn, memory, and other crap...

As you can see I am more of a follower of the 7 Intelegences theory then the memorize/spitout during a 2 hour period one.

oh and I took the test only once and after I just had... ummmm you know... relations

I just took the emode.com IQ test and scored a 131. It identified me as a Visual Mathematician.

Oh and Einstien I believe did not have much in the way of a healthy social life from what I recall...

For that matter he lacked in allot of ways... but no one pays attention to those abilities. If you can compute really fast then your really smart.

Nothin wrong with computing, but I think there are some other abilities that can solve issues just as nicely.

Intelligence = the ability to learn. Or more specifically: the ability to deduct a pattern (thinking model) from a series of occurences and the ability to correctly apply this pattern to the same or another series of occurences and predict what will come next.

Ergo: social and emotional stuff nor accumulted knowledge should come into play.

Anyhow, I could start a whole diatribe (look mum, new word) on it all, but my mental pattern predicts that it will be pointless anyway and the smart thing would be too move along. Who am I to disagree with my mind?
