jtf....there's nothing wrong with Mac users....just with one particular site which is clearly unable to take legitimate criticism, and runs the risk of permanent alienation from the public online skinning/graphic art community...

I wonder since they banned our IP, that they are still posting it on the messageboard part of the site. Plus I wonder if they also prevented us from seeing other stuff they might of put up. Just a thought.

Well, someone got my IP banned from Deviant Art. I can see thumbnails but I can't enlarge anything, nor can I download. I wrote them, but I haven't heard anything back. I guess an IP ban affects everyone using that ISP.

Hey Jafo, before you tell me to read post 63 I would just like to say I take offense to what you said but I forgive you. On the other hand I have been attacked more than once for using a mac. Sorry, I just think they are are better than Windoze.

I spent an inordinate amount of time [off and on for about half a day...on several sites] dealing with a bunch of pre-pubescent fools who just happen to have a site with the word 'Mac' in its title....because they were blatantly and openly abusing copyrights....specifically the copyright of a valued member of this, and many other skinning sites/communities, and an equally valued friend of long standing.
Frankly I don't really care whether you find offence or not. The work was removed.
End of story.

Please learn Copyright Law and apply it properly before you disgrace yourself and your site any further.
BTW...the image as downloaded from your site was called...1048927118.jpg.....it is 389,451 bytes. On Wincustomize.com it is called 'LightArmor2045Small.jpg', as submitted by Dangeruss.
I'm quite happy to validate and support the efficacy of anything you allege is 'distorted' .

I've posted a message on the DevArt forum backing you up Jafo, as I thought support for your side was somewhat lacking. I'm quite glad I didn't post on 'FunMac' myself, and chose to just watch the events unfold, as now I can patrol without them banning my IP too.

Hey Jafo there is no need to yell at me. Thats half the reason I switched and why I only come here once in awhile anymore. I expected a much different response from you. All you guys need to reread my previous post. i am not mad, just perplexed. I do stick to my original statement. Windozzzze is not for me. It is a opinion, so why did you you yell at me? Well I seem to be skinning at a rate of roughly one widget per month at the moment moshi, so that puts my next skin on target for roughly 3 years time...
As for patrolling, I tend to keep my eyes open all over the place for this sort of thing. Someone else always reports first though. I must be getting slow in my middle age.
