I think that's quite an interesting idea.

We also need someone to volunteer to be a project manager.  One that can keep track of the skins.  Can also be a team of a couple of people that would work well together.  

I wish I could manage this, but...

-I will most definitely participate with atleast one skin, but the work that pays the bills prevents me from much more unfortunately, also I know there are people more qualified for that type of thing 

I see the Doc has caught my spacial drift! And yes we need a BASE (no pun intended) to work from. And if possible one that could be used in different colors without affecting the usability and give the user a wider color choice for their tastes. Neone6 is right advertise but wisely! Perhaps updates to the process of how a community can work together to create a theme could help interest more people to give it a try. Win 8 just left the gas outta the bag and I don't know about you but I kinda felt let down. Look first at how all this customization started, even XP wasn't all that pretty at first. It took someone to spark the movement. I didn't know anything until I meet you all & well now you can't get rid of me! LOL   It was fun. I was encouraged and invited in and given advice & I have really enjoyed working with & meeting everyone.

Another possible good starting point A tittle. Could led to a base to work from. Or someone have some leftover ideas you've never pursued.

Titles- BIOSPHERE that sparks an image. A list of tittles might bring us closer to what to compose in the base, including the color scheme

Doc has outlined a flexible concept scheme to work from. Anyone else have some thoughts or suggestions!?

A biosphere sounds good. Couple that with hi-tech back to the future type stuff...sorta maybe.

Take a look at the link in the top post.  

One person/team needs to commit to the WindowBlind skin as it's obviously the base of everything.  Other skins can be done by multiple people.  No need to limit skins so the suite has the potential to have.  Last time we had multiple people take on the same type of skins, and it made the suite have even more nice skins.

It's not solely up to me.  This is a community project so everyone's input is needed to see which direction we go.

I am ok with you doing the blind, Andy, but I would ask that you tame it down a tad from your normal work so that the GFX are a little more user friendly, so to speak.

While your work is way outside the box, which is very cool, they are a bit hard to follow, if you know what I mean. I hope you do know what I'm trying to say, because I mean it in a good way.

The only reason I don't do more matching skins for your work is that you're so far outside the box, your gfx are hard to work with.

i would love to, but i had a nervous breakdown last year and my doctor as told me not to do anything to stressful and skinning is very stressful lol a may help a (bit) if needed but there's loads of new people on here that have the talent to do this . . i do like the idea of some of the best skinners coming together to produce something great... if i did get involved i would have to get windowblinds and skinstudio on my new laptop as my old laptop died about 3 months ago and iv not bothered to put them on my new laptop as iv only been doing my photography so i only need potoshop and lightroor for that.. 

Andy, I am sorry you found my reply funny. I am serious. I love your work, but I find it hard to skin for. Just being truthful.
