Suggestions for 2014 WC Community Project

The last community skin we did was the Holiday Community Suite back in 2009. I wouldn't mind doing another winter holiday suite, but that's for later in the year.

So lets start getting ideas for the next community suite. Do we go for a season like Spring or Summer? Another holiday? A different type of theme?
Lets hear it and discuss it and get moving on the next one.

Well, I made a suggestion, was hoping there'd be more.
I'm in for whatever is decided upon. Usually these things center around a windowblind, and I'm not the guy for that job. But I can skin pretty much anything else to go with what is done.
So, do count me in for the project.
How about we theme it around the upcoming WinCustomize.com 2014?
For a start.
Or a 20th anniversary Stardock theme?
I know, give us a new subscriber skin, in celebration of Stardock's anniversary, and we'll build on that?
Just ideas.
We do need something to liven up activity around here.

No doubt the lack of replies on this thread is a 'two way street', what's left of the community is not sure where Stardock/WinCustomize is heading with customizing support and Stardock/WinCustomize is not sure what the community is wanting (except announcements from SD about the status of customizing software).
Just my thoughts on the subject.

Off subject,but...
What if Brad / Stardock would produce a Snazzy Ad / Videoclip for YouTube etc for windows customization etc, that would attract people into skinning. Almost NO ONE that I talked to since I started skinning even know you can do it, and after how Windows 8´s Userinterface turned out.... Everyone wants to be a skinner !

How bout Archeological meets High Tech. Skilled skinners Craft beauty into a technological world. Cold hard unimaginative tech brought us Win 8 & threatens our creative opportunities for the future. Remember MYST, arty and flowing but incorporated a mystical air with technology. Then there's a Safari into nature with a ruiness look, a jungle book of colorful nature that is growing rarer everyday. Mars, ever imagined if the anomalies are real and what that planet looked like before their technology corrupted them. Myths- Atlantis Lost, Brainiac style. Native American Indian themes, perhaps a story from their colorful tales. And definitely Start menu animations are a big plus like Dragon, Firestarter.

you could try a different approach once. how about providing a "base" skin (i am sure there are plenty of left-overs around at Stardock) and let people modify it.
i'd guess creating a WB skin from scratch would be a huge obstacle for most people.

I think we're still in the "concept" phase...nothing written in stone just yet.
To summarize the ideas so far as they were advanced (in no particular order):
1. A hi tech theme utilizing concepts from older skins like "Copperdeck", "Giger", "Capsula" and "Thredz"...but not the actual graphics.
2. A seasonal theme.
3. A high tech/scifi dark theme.
4. A space exploration/Mars theme.
5. An "Ancient meets high tech" theme.
6. A "WC 2014" theme.
Perhaps an idea unifying a number of suggestions:
7. A high tech/futuristic theme unifying the past and (possible) future of skinning...not utilizing graphics from the older classics but the ideas/spirit behind them? I'd love to see a mock up of what's planned for WC 2014 (maybe just the colors) so that a Theme could be generated using those colors in its elements.
I like the idea of unifying the past and future a lot because of the 20th Anniversary of SD.

I feel this "Theme" summons things up with Beauty, Mars, Tech, nature etc...
