Snipers in DC

Tuesday, October 15, 2002 by ToeJo | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I live 45 minutes outside of DC. This sniper stuff really ticks me off. I've never seen anything like this. Anyone think it's al-Qaida? I don't know, but I hope they catch the SOB soon!

Update...I'm not much for the death penalty...but Muhammad is scheduled for a lethal injection on Nov. 10. I confess I probably would feel different if he had killed one of my family. But I think it is a sad state of affairs when the citizens do they very thing they condemn themselves. He is captured, he is not a threat in prison. (Perhaps the inmates I guess) But I just can't find it acceptable. Now...I invite your perspectives...but BE CIVIL! There is no need to flame anyone!

He offered no mercy to his innocent victims. He deserves to die a horrible death and should have been tortured until that time. I think he's getting off lucky.

Execution is reasonably cheap...which is a plus.

As long as it's slow and painful....perhaps a cumulative injection spanning several days.....maybe one shot per victim...per day would be cool.

I don't give a toss about his 'civil rights'/humanity...as he showed none towards his victim/s.

I've never been much for the "Eye for an Eye" thing. Life's not that fair. If it were we'd all be dead. A person's point of view mucks it up too much. Your "eye" might judge me a criminal...but someone else's "eye" may judge me a hero. Eventually throughout your life someone will want you dead.

In this case...the "eye" is the evidence which makes him a criminal. Hero's are judges in the same manner.

Eventually throughout your life someone will want you dead.

And in this case...if it happens to you you can rest assured we will "eye" him/her as a criminal and not a hero!
