I'm having redraw problems here. Every time I minimize with a news or discussion page open, when I restore, it briefly shows the proper page and then it all turns white. I have to roll-up/down or do something else to force a redraw.

I haven't had any problems with any of the versions of skinbrowser. Should I download this one?

Yep, still there. You only have to open IE or something else and minimize SB. Voila, the bottom window is all white and the bottom scrollbar disappears until clicking on it.

c242 - Odd that I never had that redraw problem before.

brazil - I fixed the preview problem by refreshing the library database, quitting, and then restarting SkinBrowser. HTH.

I tried the old version of the skinbrowser and, pardon my language, it was a piece of crap. It was slow, buggy, and extremely limited.

It has also expired.

Now, the new version claims to be all that, but there's no way I'm going to plunk down a dime if it's anything like the old version. How do I evaluate the new version since my old evaluation expired?

mine says it's RC-1...
but I can't get my firewall to let it work. I installed a new version of McAffee internet security and firewall and I'm still trying to teach it who to trust...

I downloaded and installed RC-1 after uninstalling the previous version. I am not having any problems with it. It shows the correct version. I am running Windows XP Pro SP-1. No fancy graphics card, though. Just the onboard.
