What´s up with all these game-forum threads ???
They should be taken away from WC as they are not what WC-threads should be about at all, taking up forum space and are irritating in general for us Wincustomizers

Well...why not stop commenting in them.
i havent commented in any of them, accept for maybe one and that was the banned game and that was probably a year ago.
personally, I don't want them buried, I want them to go away.

So when there was all that discussion a while back about lack of funds, subscribers, and what it cost to keep WC afloat and there may have to be some very major and unpleasant changes........WC was basically going to be the sacrificial lamb to keep everything else afloat?

as soon as I realised the money doesn't go to WC, it goes into a larger pot because all the sites are on one server and have common software
So when there was all that discussion a while back about lack of funds, subscribers, and what it cost to keep WC afloat and there may have to be some very major and unpleasant changes........WC was basically going to be the sacrificial lamb to keep everything else afloat?
I don't know where people dream up that notion.....
....other than the reality that it is only Stardock's commercial viability AS A WHOLE that enables the continuance of the lesser commercially viable entities [of which Wincustomize.com is one].
I am certain that were Wincustomize fully financed by site subscriptions then the site would very definitely by run exactly the way its subscribers would prefer.
It's a case of 'He who pays the Piper..." ...
As to WHY someone would subscribe/support the site...it is because they appreciate the site and what it does for them. I support the site....even buy subscriptions/products for others..... but some of the opinions voiced here just see me reducing my Xmas Card list.

I gotta say it's very annoying coming here to see what people are up to...skinning wise...only to see nothing but gaming posts.

In the 10 titles in 'Recent posts' at the bottom of the forum page at this moment ...5 are skinning, 2 are invisible to you....[they were spam]...so that leaves 3 that are 'everything else'.
Yeah...they change off and on but I see game posts mostly...and lately more often than not. 
Oh well...it is what it is.
