The suite includes a graphical interface and a special edition of the Stardock Winstyles installer, so this suite will install automatically even if you do not have Winstyles.

PixOS supports Cursor XP, IconPackager, Logon XP, ObjectDock, ObjectBar, Sysmetrix, Trillian, Wallpapers and WindowBlinds.

The cost for PixOS is $9.75 USD and can be purchased from: https://secure.bmtmicro.com/ECommerce-OnSite/00958/9580008.html

There is not much I can say that hasn't been said. I agree with all that more icons would be nice and a NS/WS skin would be great. This is one of the best apps I have seen over the years. I changed the wall to the Blue Moon which fits. I don't remember where I got it but if anybody wants it email me and I will send it. [email protected].

I've bought the theme, and overall, I love it. However, I don't think that the WindowsBlinds skin matches the icons or general style at all.

Plus, there appears to be a bug that makes the wallpaper included be removed and left with a blue background when the WindowsBlinds skin is installed. I've had to go back and install JUST the wallpaper to fix it.

Overall, I'm happy. I just hope that Paul at some point expands the number of icons available. I loved how many I got with the Orion set (at StarDock.com), and I really want more of these icons!

AND MORE OBJECTDOCK PIXOS ICONS!

Not that I'm trying to call Pixtudio out or anything, but normally a skinner would have resonded to some of the comments made on this suite by now. Perhaps they're busy, but I'd just like to know their rebuttal on/opinions of our comments. Again, not trying to call anyone out - just curious what, if anything, Pixstudio intends to do to improve this premium suite.

As I said in a post on this site before, we all get involved in politics at one time or another in our lives. I think this is a case where Pixtudio wants to put their best foot forward and so their response to our comments may take some thought; i.e., they don't want to seem as though they don't care what we think, yet they may have some just reasons for what many of us consider to be sort of "skimping" on the overall contents of the suite.

Eh, but what do I know?

On my side I was planing to make a WMP skin for free, like I already said on the msgboard, I know Paul wants to add some stuff too, we will all keep you informed of the progress, but don't expect something this week.

We are open for ports request, just email me for permissions

Ironically I posted a replay to this thread way back in the beginning, but for some reason it is not here.

I will be posting a "Applications and File-type" Iconpack next week some time. I am also planing on doing some DX stuff to match.

I've yet to pay for any skins except for one icon suite from Paul. I personally feel that the vast majority of skins spend around a week being used, and then I always go back to my favourite (Blackcomb). That said, I've never been so tempted as with this suite, good job guys, I'm gonna sleep on this one

mormegil: Excellent news. I LOVE the Orion set, and whenever I switch, I always switch right back because of the completeness and quality. I'd enjoy a more complete PixOS set.

Fantastic Suite. My main aversion to a Skin in the past has usually been the lack of practicality in general use.. This skin is Superbly Functional, Simple, Elegant.. Style Indeed, With Windowblinds 4 fully supporting Shellstyles in the Explorer Taskpane even my perfectionism can't find an objection to using this suite.

More Icons and Additional Skinned Apps (NS/WMP) would be fantastic.. I'll be dreaming on the potential of PixOS.

Link, I'm sure that if you send Alexandrie or Treetog an email that they will accept other forms of payment, such as a money order in exchange for the suite. Hope this helps you at a bit.

This suite looks sooo good. I'm really happy that a Trillian skin was included. It seems like that's not a part of enough suites. I've never paid for any skins whatsoever but I'm going to have to start with this one.
