Why it will never end.

Sigh.

I'm sure this will be met with some measure of controversy...

I am saddened to see any child die, I empathize with the true innocent's that have perished in not only this war but all the other futile conflicts.

...but....frankly I've had it up to my ears listening to radical advocates spouting off about their children being killed, parading photos around as if THEY had had no stake in what led up to the event.

I believe that radical islam is on its way to destroying our planet. When your putting weapons in the hands of, or strapping bombs to.. your young men..you have lost any and all claim to being a civilized people and imo merit zero sympathy.

When I look at the faces, in the photo's, I am hard pressed to find ONE face that isn't in some form portraying evil or anger, They don't want peace, they care nothing about truces or diplomacy, they don't cherish or celebrate life.

It is a disease, a drug that is slowly but very surely speading accross our planet, I personally don't see anyway it can be stopped.

I am loathed to think about raising my own children in the current world climate. Sure there are many more forces at work, but I believe the single most significant threat to the west in the years to come is keeping this evil at bay.

Some of you I'm sure will invoke Isreali \ Western agrression, warmongering, ideology, any number of reasons why it's not their fault... I think thats BS.

Look at the images, do you see peace seekers? Children of God?..

I see pure evil.

All religions have been proven wrong.. get over it....

hehe

Scientific proof/thoery is subject to the given data at the time of writing, each and every scientific theory is subject to alteration upon discovery of new substantiating or unsubstantiating data. Science proves nothing but deems "Theoretical belief"  as supported by the data at hand. Many deem these theorys to be full on fact, where a true scientist realizes todays fact can be tomorrows fiction..

Scientists once believed the world was flat. Til further research shown different. As the data changed, so did the theory

The fact that he don't see it (and neither do I), makes it a bad one.

Moral values has nothing to do with scientific values. You may as well try to make a mathematical equation to calculate who will fall in love with who...

Hee hee! The perfect way to end this never ending discussion.

I don't think there is a right and wrong in this kind of discussions, it all boils down to opinion and who we want to trust...

With that said, I'll go back to the more controversial subjects, like "thick or thin borders".

"thick or thin borders".

Thin borders are super, certainly done my share of em , but unfortunately the looks you can produce with them are limited, no way to provide any depth of material in a couple of pixels, moving forwards I'll be using slightly larger frames, not bloated, not huge but enough to have a canvas to to work on.

i was quite drunk when i wrote that.. but it still stands.... so do you believe more data will come around to prove that the earth isnt round? do you wait for it?... i will stay round until something changes (like the sun dies or we blow it to pieces ) its a fact. Same as there isnt any adam or eve in the religous fashion that started the human race... eve made from a rib come on.... Anyone that isnt crazy can, if they want, see that religion is mostly fiction. The hard part is that this fiction is often blended with events or persons that where real.. thats how people can justify their faith.

IMO!

Agree.  Like Karen stated, you got your reasons for taking your stand, something I could never understand from my background. Well, thats how folks are I guess. Believe me, I wish all israelis and jews nothing but good in life and hope that some day things will get better for both sides. Also, I never lied once in this thread, so that makes me gullible in your eyes then I guess.

Peace to you, dear "thread nemesis".    I bet the characteristics of exchanged words would be totally different with another subject matter.

I remember reading some where that they think the earth is more oval shaped, another said the earth was constantly changing shape as pressures molded the surface. All speculative but still theories.
