Some great advice.I think you got some misguided opinions from your friends,and some of us here may be a bit biased because we love the products.I started with OD free and the demo of WB and saw for myself how they worked on my machine.That's what trials are for.
Get the facts for yourself,then decide.Stardock earned my money by living up to my expectations.Are they perfect? Of course not,nothing is.Is it fun? You Betcha!

I would like to invite you g52 to try any of our software, I think you might be pleasantly surprised.

g52, you fail again! i was at best buy this afternoon and was surfing the net using one of their laptops. granted, the sales person was trying to sell the unit to me but it does have access to the net.

She stepped out for a while and come sat on my lap.
She said something like: "Now let's talk about the first thing that pops up!"
I guess we were on different wavelengths, tho...she was talking about docks while I was talking about... well let's just say we were having entirely different conversations.
Funny, that! Seemed like we were agreeing on so much.

Hehe, would loved to have seen the look on her face when she realised we weren't.
