I seriously need cheering up..........

Every once in awhile i slump into deep depression, and i struggle to keep living, but my mind never stops with.....shall we say negative whispers, of the demon kind..... stuff i wouldnt even want to bestow my worst enemy with......

 

so im asking for those who care about me to please leave me some kind words, why you like me, why i am here, who i am, and guide me back on the road to recovery again..............   

 

 

.....i dont want attention........i want help to remember why it will be okay again soon.....*sigh*

When I ever I feel depressed....and believe me...I have more than my share to be depressed about...I always remember that someone somewhere is far worse off than me.

Where to start, lol ???

It may help a little when, on waking from your nights' sleep, if instead of getting up and rushing around, you just lie in bed and try to think of something that makes you feel good (you'll have to enter your own lewd thoughts about certain a "Vulcan" here, hehe) and just try to relax for a few minutes before rising to face the challenges that the day has to offer.

Deep, dark thoughts are not a stranger to me, but I can control them and it's very rare that they escape from my personal "Panndora's Box".

POSITIVES
You are an extremely talented artist (imho), enthusiastic about what you do, helpful, "wacky" and most of all, you are the only one like you (Philosophy??, gosh).

NEGATIVES
Judging by your musical performance when you were featured on a recent Skincast, you must either have taught my dog, Henry, to sing in that unique style, or attended the same Musical School that he did, rofl.

Panndora, i've learned thru battling my own demons that the battle never stops but i always keep on going. some days are rougher than others but i keep on going. there are days i want to cash it all it but for some reason, i keep on going. i have a mother, 2 brothers, a daughter, a son, an ex-wife, and numerous friends i lean on when times get rough. there's always somebody there to help me keep on going. so, what i'm trying to say is: no matter how bad it seems, there's always a reason to keep on going. hang in there, Panndora. it will get better!

A lot of people here care about you Kitty Consider this, every sunrise is a new beginning with unlimited potential. Any one day can change your life.

For me, life's all about the journey. Looking back from this point in the journey I can still appreciate the bad times as well as the good and it helps me to realize just how much there is to come. (If all the times were good then how would you know?)

A life without problems isn't really a life worth living. I have my share of annoying problems everyday, and it's what keeps me going
God gives us these problems/traumas/difficulties and lays such challenging hurdles in our path because He wants us to keep going and prove to ourselves that we do deserve His Divine Attention. Lucky are the people who get problems that God lays out before them, because it shows God cares.
And think of those living with absolute relief and harmony, and yet God neglects them, because He considers them unworthy of His Blessings.
I might have gotten a bit religious here

Kitty...I still think of you as Kitty so forgive me. I'm 59 years old and I have been fighting depression & dark thoughts since before I knew what they were...in short my whole life. Why that is...I don't know but I guess that is "my cross to bear" as they say. There have been periods of light when everything seemed clear but they are soon over. I have used a saying that I read in a book by St John of the Cross that goes "Faith is to remember in the darkness what you saw in the light". If it all made sense to me once it can & will again. I have 4 daughters and I need to be there for them...so I can't be selfish. I have always had a tremendous amount of respect for you. You seem to have an abundance of talent & love for your work. You seem to be willing to be there for others and that to me is the secret. Get out of yourself and give to others with no thought of payback.I've heard you speak of your daughter & your boyfriend in glowing terms so I know you have experienced love. Hang out in the light as opposed to the darkness and you'll feel better. I'm pulling for you...This too shall pass!

Look in the mirror, ignore the evil thing that is distorting your vision today, and remind yourself that you are a worthy, talented,beautiful, and vivacious creature that deserves to have a great day despite the devils that are prodding you.
Remind yourself several times today of the same thing. don't let the devils convince you otherwise, they will try but you will succeed because you are strong and have battled those devils in the past and won. Don't forget that you HAVE won ,every day is a battle and you will fight it individually and not let those battles pile up and discourage you.
I'm glad you consider me your friend because I consider you MY friend. and I care deeply about my friends, IRL or online, you are still a personality I am happy to connect myself with.

IMO There is a close relationship in your art and you.
I like the way you say whatever you think. You dont pretend to be someone else but the real you. Your art as well is very original and distinguished. You are a great asset to the community.

There are billions of people in the world,but there is only one you.That makes you a unique and special person.To us on the outside looking in,we see that easily.Unfortunately we all have dark times that obscure these facts from ourselves.Remember that you are special to everyone ,including yourself.

On my site I say there's a little magic in everyone,but there is a lot of magic in you,Kitty.It's louder than any negative whispers and brighter than any dark shadows.
You share it with us in the form of your art.It's ok to use a little bit for yourself.

That, and also take a look at clowns. They exist not to entertain, or make us laugh, but to make us feel good because you're seeing, right there, someone worst off then you in front of your own eyes. They provide a sense of security that way. Anyway, we all have our bad moments, but it's those moments that makes us who we are and we develop, grow and become stronger from them.

Seriously , Panndora , just look at the work you've done. Your 100 blind for example . You did that , for someone in this community. Look at it and think ' wow , I did that tribute to BoXXi and it was cool'

As someone who has been there..too many times...if you can get your ass out of bed you've won half the battle. Honestly. Then take baby steps. As to 'why it will all be okay again soon' and the rest of it.... As far as I'm concerned, WC has the only freak/goth that's worth a shit. DA has nothing but posers.

If you need some quick fixes...
1. Watch 'Executive Decision'. Any movie where Steven Segal bites it in the first 30 minutes has to cheer anyone up.
2. Watch 'The Mothman Prophecies'. Any movie where Debra Messing bites it in the first 30 minutes has to cheer anyone up.
3. Watch 'The Crying Game' and try to act surprised when you find out 'she's' a 'he' in front of everyone else watching. Always good for a laugh.
4. Go here WWW Link and post in the forum. Start every post with "Dear Foot-For-A-Face, You are NOT sexy..." This always cheers me up. (Or, so there will not be confusion, start your posts with 'Dear Horse-Face..' Either one will work )
5. Post a really nasty comment on my WC Site and get on my wife's List. Only the BEST make my wife's list.
6. If all else fails...read the following..

'Three mimes and Zubaz walk into a bar.

They sit at the bar and the bartender asks "What'll you have?"

Zubaz orders a Double Flaming Nipple.

The bartender warily looks at the first mime and asks "what'll you have?" The mime leaps from the bar stool and begins hopping, six feet in the air, back and forth across the bar. Zubaz looks at the bartender and says "He would like a Grasshopper." at which point the mime takes his seat again, smiling.

The bartender looks at the second mime and asks 'What'll you have?" The mime jumps up on the bar and goes into a low crouch, arms folded and begins kicking his legs as he hops. He kicks beer mugs back into the wall and sends the peanuts all across the floor. The bartender starts yelling and Zubaz interupts..."He'll have a White Russian." at which point the second mime takes his seat, smiling.

The bartender, a little upset, looks at the third mime. "And what'll you have?" The mime pulls out a big sandwich bag full of walnuts and pulls out his pecker and immediately begins to masturbate into the bag of walnuts.

"HEY!" the bartender yells. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!?!"

Zubaz looks at the mime and then at the bartender. "He's fucking nuts. He'll drink anything." '
