your thoughts?

I released my 98th WindowBlind skin recently, and I have a couple more before I reach that 100th skin, but I'm thinking that maybe the 100th skin will be a master skin. If I am going to make a master skin that you guys might like to purchase, I know it will have to be special, and I know it will have to be totally complete. That's not a problem, I am prepared to put the hours in to make a complete skin, BUT, I would like some input from the community as to how this skin should look.

If you have ever looked through my gallery you will know that I like to create some wild and weird stuff, and I like to do animated skins too if the idea excites me. I can do abstract type skins, "machine" looking skins, or minimal skins. Color is a very important factor for me too.

So, any and all input and suggestions from you guys will be received gratefully, and hopefully I can make a skin to be proud of and that you will like to buy.

Lots of animation like in Beelzebub and Clouds. Go nuts with the animation, I can always adjust animation rate to suit my CPU.

I must say your a regular shinning machine! On your 100th I agree that animations would be great. I don't see very many really great skins with brown or beige for example. Most earth tones skins don't seem to turn out that well unless I've missed something.

I just one new member, but I would like to something between minimal and wild. Also, it might appeal to the more general buyer as well which means more $$$ for you.

Anyway, just some personal thoughts. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

No problem with the purchase provided it's a WB6 skin and a Vista skin.

BoXXi, based on all of your previous work, I would say if you like it the community will also. I would say don't rush it but also don't over think it. With coming up on your 100th WB you know what I mean. The design will just be there one day, go with it.

You had a WB here the last couple of weeks that was Black and had some dimension. My suggestion would be to build on that. It has to be hard to make something seem 3D when in fact it is presented in 2D. If you could pull off something like that, wow.

Look at me, I can't wrap presents without screwing it up and I'm try to help you.   

What ever you decide on will be great, hell, you're BoXXi, need I say more.

Vstyler..... you really didn't need to comment on this thread. It was obvious you wouldn't have anything positive or kind or helpful to say. If you turn this thread into a mess I'll just have the guys remove it...... ok?

Philly: Now that you mention it, that skin was very satisfying to make, and I like to use it. If I can come up with an original black shiny design I will most definitely consider that. Thank you.

hehe.... Dave, I have a matching WB to that right now, and it's terrible! I stopped working on it a long time ago. I redesigned it about 5 times, but it still looked awful. That design works OK for DX and Xion, but translating it to WB was a nightmare.
(Make it easier for me buddy!!)

If you do decide to make a black shiney one, how about pairing that up with a soothing color like Windowboxx. I have that blind, and I put black icons with it. It looks great! Mixing the black shiney things and the muted soothing colors would be awesome.

hmmmm.... an Ultimax skin is a possibility. so is a Slider skin. Thanks for the suggestions.

For 100 it needs to be something special, exotic even. Maybe like A Faberge egg? Dark blue and silver (or gold), or dark red and silver, with the metal as filigree.
