Winter is here...

Sunday, December 2, 2007 by Phearx | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I live in Minnesota and any others living in the Midwest probably know it too. It snowed non-stop from 9am till about 8 and its been snowing a little bit here and there still. Driving in this pretty much sucked in my 1980 Chrysler Newport, no ABS, rear wheel drive and to top it all off my car is almost 20 feet long. How is the weather in other places around here?

Had some snow Thanksgiving evening, mostly windy now and some off and on rain in New Mexico. Hey just point the nose of the car and go for it, just remember turn the wheel into the direction of the skid.......

It's 11:15 PM in Houston right now and 71F.  How crappy is that?

Yea in neighborhoods and city streets its fine, just the highways are not fun. Rear wheel drive is actually nice for corners in neighborhoods since I can just tap the gas and walk the rear end around the corner. I shouldn't have much to worry about though since Minnesota winters have gone downhill lately usually a good snow or two and thats it for the year. And Zubaz, its 23F right now with "Wintery Mix" doesn't that sound awesome

It snowed today, but it was normal type, it snowed then all melted away.

I hope it doesn't snow during finals week! My school are on a nasty long and high uphill road with curves. No way to get there in snow.

I'm in the Pacific Northwest, east of the Cascades...we had a couple of inches of snow on the 18th (Nov.) and then 6 inches again couple days ago. We are about to get hit with another storm. The Oregon coast has a Hurricane Force Wind Warning for tonight.    So yeah, winter is here for us as well.

We had lots of snow here (Switzerland) two weeks ago, and I already went skiing. Unfortunately now a lot of it has disappeared again. I'm hoping for some more.

That's normal temperate in WA state. I'd call this slightly cool.

I got summer here.... 23c at 7.06pm (31c was the high today) Ipswich Queensland in good ol' Oz.

I prefer and am more comfortable in winter/colder weather. 0c - 12c suits me better due to the combination of crushed spinal nerves and warm weather causing profuse sweating.

Oh well, winter's only a few months away.... if you could call it that here.

10:10 here, and in my part of the UK its raining and 6.2C, should be up to 10C later.

Forecast for Tue/Wed is 14C, quite mild for December. The winters have been so mild for the last 15-20 years we can't really remember what snow is like...

5:21 AM here in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania....started lightly snowing 1:30AM...the weather guys said it wasn't suppose to start till 7 AM...surprise!...but we only got about an inch of snow and will probably be gone by the time I get out of bed...unless of course it does start snowing at 7AM...again.

Forecast for the rest of the winter....50% chance of snow. Thats my story and I'm stickin to it.

6:45 AM 31 degrees, and 6 inches of new snow, in Upper Michigan.
Looks like I'll have to fire up the snow thrower today.
