Winter is here...

Sunday, December 2, 2007 by Phearx | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I live in Minnesota and any others living in the Midwest probably know it too. It snowed non-stop from 9am till about 8 and its been snowing a little bit here and there still. Driving in this pretty much sucked in my 1980 Chrysler Newport, no ABS, rear wheel drive and to top it all off my car is almost 20 feet long. How is the weather in other places around here?

6:45 AM 31 degrees, and 6 inches of new snow, in Upper Michigan.
Looks like I'll have to fire up the snow thrower today.

I don't miss the winters there but I do miss the ice fishing. Hows the pike this year?
I'll bet it's too soon for fishing, lakes not frozen solid enough yet, don't ya know.

I was in SoCal for Thanksgiving and my GF that's lived in PA all her life was like, WTF? What happened to the warm weather. I thought it was nice at 76F, I personally found it warm. Then again I am from SoCal living in PA now, so I welcome the snow and cold weather. At the momment it's 24F with some powder on the ground. My GF thinks I'm carazy because I walk around in shorts, no socks and sneakers

My husband was in the Air Force and we lived in Texas for 6 1/2 years too long. We then lived in Hawaii for 3 years. Yeah, try to get into the holiday spirit decorating the yard in shorts and a tank top.

Very happy to be back in Wisconsin. Cold and snow and loving it.

Pasties, cheese curds, and snow.  Sounds great. (Oh and fresh beer from Milwaukee)  .

I put up the lawn decorations this afternoon . . in shorts and a t-shirt.  Had the AC on.  It just doesn't feel right.
Come on home, Zu.
As soon as I can.  I promise.

Heading up to Bloomington IN right after Christmas to visit my Sister's family.  Hopefully that will give me my fix.

Yea its a nice car. Got it from an older lady that went to church and back other than that it was in the garage. No rust, 47k miles on it with matching maroon interior.
