I'll second that...and since I have OD+, I have two. I'd like at least to be able to (if I have to have a systray icon) be able to right click on it and have a choice to quit the zoomer or the tabbed dock, or both.

I wish there was a transparency option for the dock icons like there is for the background.

Messiah, I assume Karmat means user selectable transparency for the icons. It could be achieved with just modifying the icons, but it's kind of cumbersome, specially if it doesn't end up right, and you need to "reopacitate" all the dock icons.

I would like the entire dock to become more transparent if the mouse is not hovering it. And to make it even more tricky, the zoomer dock should adjust transparency on the icons the same way the zoom works. Thus put more transparency on icons the further away from the mouse they are.

Thanks Mickeko. Even if I knew how to do it, I wouldn't want to have to go through the process of changing each icon all the time - I'd like it to be a flick of the switch as it is for the backgrounds.

I'd like it to bhe able to identify the skin you're using, see if it has a matching dock and if you want to switch docks....and/or give the option to download and install the dock.

Something I thought was already an option, but I'd like to be able to select "grow" as a mouseover effect on zoomers. Tabbed dock entries already "grow" on mouseover, but it'd be cool for zoomers too.

I also think that the user ought to be able to set the amount of "grow."

For that matter, how about all the other mouseover effects being enabled for tabbed docks?

I hope the "grow" feature for tabbed docks gets an overhaul.  Currently it draws a bigger icon over the normal state icon.  (Watch it closely when you mouseover)

There have been instances where I've had the "grown" image still there after I've moved my mouse...this looks terrible, especially with a transparent icon...

I don't know if this was mentioned.......( sorry for being too lazy to read through all 7 pages if it was )........I think it would be a good idea to either make OD able to read the Plus and Minus Images like every other image in the skin ( without the need of a specified file path ) or to move the OD Library to C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock..... This way We can make Tabbed docks with Plus and Minus Images with a file path that will work for everyone! ( I personally think My first option would be best ). I know that You and Giz usually include instructions to put the Tabbed docks in C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Backgrounds..... and I hate to be the barer of bad news......( if You were not already aware of it )......... I recently got a new laptop, I went from 32 bit to 64 bit and the file path is different......' Program Files (x86) ' I think if this problem is not already being addressed, it might be best to instruct people to first create a folder ' Plus and Minus' in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Stardock, and have the Plus and Minus Images in their own folder, with sub folders...depending on how many backgrounds.....and have them put it in the ' Plus and Minus ' folder that they made. And of course, to configure the docks for that file path. Otherwise people will have to open each config and change the file path for themselves, We will have to make two sets of backgrounds, or just stop making plus and minus images at all.

Another thing......... I know You talked about, when choosing a Tabbed dock, for it to start at the current dock and not go back to the top of the list.......once again, sorry for being lazy if it was already mentioned...... but, how about if when You click on the list a second time, You could then type or start to type the name of a background ( if You know what it's named anyway ) and it jumped to that place in the list.

This is a good request.  OD has a search for images currently so that would be a logical addition.    About the Plus/Minus images...I dunno, I do like your idea about the user creating their own Plus/Minus folder and then dropping a folder into that containing the plus/minus for the theme...I think I'll look into that some more.  Good idea there "Fred".

*edit - the plus/minus thing is still being hashed out in my head...don't know what I'm going to do yet.  I think it has to remain easy for the user though, above all.

Also, would You want to post an article about this for all Tabbed dock skinners or should I ??? Pobably just a quick something with a link to here and telling them to please read Replys #155 - whatever.............so they can use the same layout.

I think it would make more sense if Stardock decided on a full unified directory structure for all the customization products. Having separate folders for each app is nothing but annoying.
