Is this too dark?

To solve an ongoing discussion with a friend I would like to ask anyone who cares to give their opinion two questions.
1. Can you read the text over the blue BG?
2. Would these menu's be useable in a a WB?
This is an Unskinned menu but the skinned menus are same color combo
A simple yes or no would be preferred please.

Hard to read.. I'll concede to those of you that find it that way.
However I just can't in my right mind accept that so many people said they can not read it at all.
To me its clear as day..
You have however answered my question and I will keep this in mind in designing future skins.

The black text on a dark blue colour makes it hard to read and strain the eyes.
Hard to read.. I'll concede to those of you that find it that way.
However I just can't in my right mind accept that so many people said they can not read it at all.
To me its clear as day..
You have however answered my question and I will keep this in mind in designing future skins.
