What does it take?

Exactly what does it take to get promoted around here? I see people here that haven't even been here a year, not skinners and most of their forum activity is in "meaningless" posts. And I mean I don't see them helping or trying to help someone. And please don't send me to a link...I've read them before and I am still wondering. I know...I know...I'll get labeled a whiner. But I am really just curious....

Well only thing a promotion gets you is a change in honorific...

For some reason I envision I.R...with coke bottle glasses...sneeking down some alley behind a dumpster with a laptop...like some crazed scientist...and screaming "You'll never take me alive!"...while pounding away at his keyboard creating skins to get his skin fix.

Okay, okay, so I went out in womens clothing, but that means nothing. That was to win a bet and was a once off....tho I suppose I could be tempted to do it again for large sums of money.
Sorry to hear that....where do we send the supply of 'Soap on a Rope'
Now back to the subject at hand! Bugger getting promotions! Got one at work once ....resulted in greater responsibilities, people asking questions I didn't know how to answer.

I have yet to figure it out...I have been on here almost a year now, and I have done everything that it describes--uploading skins--on here and at SA, DA, and Skinbase. I've helped people out..all the stuff required--my thought on getting a "promotion" was that someone was willing to take you under his/her wing and show you things that you didn't know how to do--to better yourself..oh well, I'll just keep doing what I have been
