Can you remember the first skin that really blew you away and got you hooked on customization?
Mine was Thredz by Dangeruss and Thredz. That skin made it impossible to have vanilla Win ever again. When I look at it now, I am amazed at what a fine piece of work it was and still is!

Same here @ Thredz. He was the one. 
Also I got in contact with him ripping his website off for my own 1st website. From then on I knew what a "rip" was. 
After me apologizing for the whole mess he gave me permission to use his stuff further on. Did that for 2 years...

Ahh yes Flooter! Actually, I am making sure that I have all the great skins of the past eras having just redone my hard drive. It is so hard to remember exact names of skins. 20002 seems like a long time ago in many ways.

Thug-Life Feb '99 was a Litestep theme that had me go 'wow'.....certainly memorable....and different....

I don't remember which skin I downloaded first...I know I was surfing cnet, and there was this program called windowblinds, which sounded really cool!! I think that was in 2002...I do remember one that reminded me of a Tonka truck..it was yellow and black, kind of a heavy machinery wb...I think I loved all of them, especially the holiday ones, they just did wonders for my desktop...and still do!!!

I remember now...
on my grandparents old pc I put objectbar on it to get the xp look, then I found GT2 by tiggz and loved that. but I could only have OB back then (Windows ME) and I didn't have the money for OD
