I lived in Mesa the past 16 years , my first year
there it snowed in Scottsdale for 30 mins., and that
was it for snow the next 16 years.
Now in Big Bear with winter snow

Last time I recall it snowing was when I lived in Scottsdale. Maybe seven or so years ago. Very brief. But it actually stuck around for the night. I got to watch my dog romp in what little there was.
Lived in Portland for awhile. Worked on the ramp at the airport. Snow was actually welcome. The constant pinging of the rain on my gear and the aircraft got annoying. The snow fall was soft and a welcome relief.
