Great looking theme! I liked Metallic Atmosphere very much but, this one will make me change! Hope it works as well as MA did/does.....Very NIce!!

Nice! I tried it because I really like the color switching script. It works well on 1024/768. This theme is versitsile, complete, functional. A click of a button and all the applications spring into view, another click and they are gone! I also like the sound effects you supplied. Very, very nice and complete theme.

Saint John, loaded this theme and have the following comments/observations. CPU useage goes up from 1-5% to 25-58% on my system. With the MA theme, this was caused by the net in/out data but, don't think it's the cause on this theme. Dunno why but, it does rise. Secondly, when I try to change a shortcut, the change is applied, then after 10 seconds, everything stops, and then re-starts (sometimes) in about 5 seconds, if I don't get a "DESKTOP X HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND NEEDS TO SHUTDOWN" error message causing a restart of DX. Annoying, to say the least! Thirdly, after I FINALLY got shortcuts changed and went to save the entire theme, it took about 40 seconds (my norm's been 5-8seconds on other themes) but, at least I didn't get the "DESKTOP X problem" error message on the theme save. Sorry to take up so much space but, I really like this theme and want it to work as well as MA does. Guess I'll be going back to MA until you can research (I hope) these observations. I still think it's a great theme but, I'm not inclined to use a theme that uses that much CPU on a pretty regular basis......

Swwweeeettt! Love the animation/fading effects. It'd be nice if the shortcut button highlights would toggle on/off w/ their windows.

GREAT THEME, BUT! As mentioned it uses a LOT of CPU! Up to 50% at times! Fix this and it will be Perfect!!!

Maggot & Zanshin, In my particular case the CPU usage goes up from 1-3% to 6-15%. As you can see, I included in this theme a lot of images, info, plugins and scripts. Obviously, this things make your computer work a little more, but I never get a message error. I would advise you to try to make the scripts enable/disable and/or some objects you don't need until your CPU speed finds the regular variation.

Great theme and looks great at 1600x1200 also, you got one of the best looking out there...very "philip dick".
Now the bad part, my CPU hovers around 50% +-5 with this theme loaded. Other themes are negligable. And the I get after a few minutes about the weather popup:
"Object required: 'weatherDoc.documentElement.SingleNode(...)'

Code:
(not available)"

I dont know scripting or I would help fix this...any ideas?

An exalent skin for the windows user interface and as i`m a noob and have never created a skin, i wouldent dare give negative feedback on things i cant do myself. however i do have a question...In the screen shot for the second menu bar there is text (presumably shortcuts to system wide programs) in the default download for the theme the is no shortcuts i was wondering how i can achive this or possably add icon shortcuts to it.. Again fantastic work and thanks in advance for any advice thats given

Weather script, "from time to time" I get the same error. I don't now why.
I'll contact Martin (the mentor), and if I have any news I'll let you know.

dazzyd, You need to read the Developer�s guide. You can find it by clicking the right button of the mouse and going to desktopX options. Don�t worry it�s VERY EASY.

SnieGu, (assuming you have installed the latest version of DX2) you need to unzip file, then, install the fonts and hit the SubSytem 13.dxtheme. That's all!!
