Again, I do these at work and don't have a photo editor at work. I will try to spare some time at home to create some better graphics and actually use this button to maybe control volume. Then I'll upload an update. Until then, you guys will have to use your own graphics.

I think this is got to be one of the more innovative objects for DesktopX! Sliders are easy to pull off, but this is pretty interesting and highly applicable. Thank you!!!

I was wanting to use your object to activate various links around it with an arrow graphic any idea on how to script that

Hmmm, yes, it can be done. You will have to specify the angles where you want the button to stop turning and depending on the poisitions, in the section where I wrote "insert your code here" you will write the code to do whatever it takes to activate the links. If you want, I can do a simple example if you e-mail me what exactly you want to do, and any graphics you already might be planning to use.

I'm sure you'll know how to unscramble the e-mail addy.

Heh, I wouldn't know how either. Some other DX widget guru will have to help you on that one Terry.

Hey people,

hope you're all well !!

Listen, I really wanna use this script but ...
When I drag the mouse to change the object's angle, it jumps back to the previous angle for a second when I move the mouse away from the object.

Please could someone maybe conjour up a solution ??

Thanks

Hi Haemogoblin,

Unfortunately this object is reeeeally old (3+ yrs). It used to work on some old version of DX but I haven't looked at it since then. I suggest you take a look at the code and try to update it yourself. Unless you are a coder, this object won't be too much of use anyway so better roll up those sleeves.

Good luck,
T.
