This is not animating fir me. I checked the animation tab and they all show 1 image, for non animated.

That's because it's the non-animated version.

You can find the animated version here: http://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?library=3&SkinID=2711

Could you do that for the WorldWeather-Service too ?
Comment #6 Tuesday, August 5, 2003 8:13 PM
Wow truly amazing! Very fast script and it works very well for me! Thanks

hwn: If you mean the WorldWeather service as in http://www.worldweather.org then this doesn't have an XML feed I can see. In fact I have not found ANY satisfactory global XML feed. Judge's object is slower as it is a web scape but IS global.

Just click the picture, it should work - it does here!

I can't seem to set my location. I've tried clicking on the city&state.

Also attempting to view the objects properties crashes DesktopX.

Finally got one to work! The first weather object I found that actually works!

Excellent! One question though: it doesn't seem to remember my zipcode. Each time I reload DX, I am asked for my zip...
Comment #18 Wednesday, November 12, 2003 6:09 PM
hmm, Ok here. What DX version are you using?
Comment #19 Thursday, November 13, 2003 1:51 PM
Hey it works great.
Comment #20 Saturday, January 10, 2004 12:48 PM
great little object. dial-up users, like me have to disable the script whenever we're not on the internet to avoid scripting error. if it checked and only tried to update when a connection existed, then it definitely would be a 10.
