In case you're not aware.... 6-plus terrorist bombs were detonated in London today....coinciding with the G8.
Many casualties.
They're in our thoughts.

After 9/11, Madrid and now London I hope that the international response to these inhuman terrorist acts will not be to banalize them 
. There is no acceptable excuse for the random extinguishing of life. We shall annihilate them in the end. All my prayers and condolescences go out to England. We're with y'all guys!

All my thoughts and prayers go out to the good people of England. My hope is that the recovery will be swift, and the terrorists that did this will be caught quickly and dealt with in the most severe terms. God Bless.

My condolences to the people of London. I hope that this tragedious event does not pass by the international community unnoticed. These terrorists are telling us that they are still alive and fighting for their inhuman causes. We must act quickly to end more killings of inocent people, in light of the G8 conference and of the 2012 Games.

Condolences to all those in British Isles.
They were there for us after 911.
I know we are going to provide whatever we can to help them now.
We will certainly be there to help eliminate the cowardly dogs who did this.

Not to diminish the attack in any way but there were "only" four (4) confirmed explossions; 3 in the tubes and one on a doubledecker.
The confussion about how many explossion actually occurred came about due to people traveling by tubes emerged from the horror in several different stations.
But still, that doesnt decrease the horror in any way these poor people must have gone through. And yes, the attack must indeed have been carried out by some cowardly group/persons.
I was adjusting the TV antenna and I almost shat my pants when I heard the news as I turned on the TV. (Early Thursday afternoon, CET)
Let's just say that the antenna is still laying where I left it - never have I switched the satellite reciever that fast.
Let's all hope the responsible people behind these attacks are caught soon and brought to justice!

Stand by our friends in London. Pray for the victums and there families. For every terrorist attack is committed, millions of people around the world will stand stronger. This will be the downfall of the terrorist. Terrorist are cowerds. They hav'not the guts to fight it out on the battle field hand to hand.

I just feel I need to post a thankyou for the kind thoughts & words for the british public.
i can confirm that there were 4 explosions @ Edgeware Road, Tavistock square, Kings cross & Liverpool Street.
This is a sad day for the UK & I'm sure that anyone from the UK who looks at these posts will appreciate your support, thoughts & words.

Things I am thankful for
...the mess to clean after a party
because it means I have been surrounded by friends.
...the taxes I pay
because it means that I am employed.
...the clothes that fit a little too sung
because it means I have enough to eat.
...my shadow who watches me work
because it means I am out in the sunshine.
..a lawn that needs mowing,
windows that need cleaning
and gutters that need fixing

I was at work when I heared the news. Can't say I was surpriced. I've talked with my mates in England sometimes about terror attacks in England. And everyone expected it to come. The Underground beeing the most likely target. I've thought about it when I've taken the underground. Very hard to control, even thought they take great care to make sure unattended items are removed.
I'm currently back home in Norway for the summer, working. My first thought was "it came", then a little later I started thinking of who I knew who might be there. One of my mates live in London, not the centre, but in London anyway. I had also heard that the phone lines where down. I sent some texts anyway. Fortunatly I got one text back, from my mate nearest London. He was all right.
The people in London has lived with the threat of bombs before due to IRA, but in the recent time it's been fine. And now a new threat appear. Well, the threat has been there for a while, but they finally hit.
It's a big shame. Makes you want to go and live in solitude far into the mountains and disassosiate yourself with the rest of the word. It's a big fat joke. The kind that isn't funny.
To all of you in London, and to all of the relatives and friends, I wish you the very best in this times and I am sorry for you. I am confident that this will not break you. It didn't in the past and I've been in England long enought to know it won't change now either. Peace!
