In case you're not aware.... 6-plus terrorist bombs were detonated in London today....coinciding with the G8.
Many casualties.
They're in our thoughts.

I was in London in September '73 ....and had to pass the billboards outside the tube stations warning to look out for suspicious packages....[IRA] ... following bombings way back then.
Nothing much changes, does it? 32 years later and I'm now 50 rather than 18 [I turned 19 while in London...still can't remember the pub-crawl]...and more terrorism.
Oz is determining whether to send the SAS back into Afghanastan shortly...so again the Land Downunder will be viewed as a target.....probably not a clever idea to party on in Bali for a while.
One of the poor sods who was exitting Kings Cross as the bomb went off....he commented via phone....he'd also just exitted the Sari Club in Bali...just as that one went off. It's probably a good time for him to just stay at home....

As an ex-pat Brit, I'm more than touched by this tragic event as I have friends and relatives who still live there. Hopefully none of them have been harmed, and my condolences to all those who have been needlessly affected

Perhaps he should have phrased it as "Rabid Dogs"...Even then it gives rabid dogs a bad name. The great nation of England will, as always, come through this with the grace and dignity she has always shown.
