Here in the U.S. the 4th of July is kind of a cool Holiday. The bad part is a bunch of Yahoos blowing off fireworks at all hours of the night, the cool part is a bunch of yahoos blowing off fireworks at all hours of the night.
Does anyone have anything special planned? Other than watching a "professional" fireworks display, I plan on taking it easy and not thinking about work.

Nope. Real Football is played with an pigskin ball (Well it used to be made of pigskin...) and it's called the NFL.

Fireworks (the good stuff) is illegal in Nebraska. Can some one explain to me why i can be arrested for celebrating Independance Day with fireworks and someone who burns the Flag cannot?

Going to be on vacation in Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park (3 hours drive from here!)

This year we'll be catching our usual 3 fireworks displays. One local and the others are out of town. Two of those towns budgets were down last year, so, they were rather short.
