WindowBlinds Configuration Screen Error

I just reinstalled WindowBlinds 4.5.1 from when my computer crashed last year. I was using 3.5.1 before because I installed the wrong version. Now in the configuration screen, the bottom is cut off. For example, the scrollbar is missing on the skin, toolbar and animation screen:
Here the buttons are cut in half:
And the buttons here are complete gone:
The buttons are still there because I can tab to them and open them.
I have tried different skins including tring XP's Luna and Classic styles. I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling WB 4.5.1. Thank you for your help.

It looks like you have altered the system font via the registry (or via a tweaking app)
Doing this breaks apps as its used to calculate dialog size.

Is there a way to repair this problme, without reinstalling XP? I do not remember doing anything to the registry or having a program that would change the system font to anything else.

Maybe doing a Windows XP 'Repair' would fix it.
'Repair' keeps all files, just patches up system files. It's worked for me alot of times.

Reinstall XP? whoa! Have you tried rebooting after the install? The bottom pic happens to me sometimes, i just click the top of the window then everything appears.

WOW! PPl are suggesting doing a repair XP? That sounds pretty drastic. Besides I've used repair XP before and although it may fix the system files it doesnt always perserve all your apps. The apps may be there after the repair but some of them dont work. Another point, the repair option wont be available in setup if SP2 is intalled. A manual repair can always be done by logging into windows via a c: prompt, but then again you have to know what is wrong and how to fix it. If you think perhaps one of your system files has been corrupted, then why not try SFC /scannow?

Just out of curiosty, in your WB config dialog under user overides, are font overides set at the defaults (no change)? And is this weird font showing up in any of your other apps?

Im sorry, I just looked at your screenshot again. The fonts are set to the defaults. (sorry, I didnt notice this before) But I am still curious to know if any of your other apps have this problem or is it just your WB config dialog.

I'll bet it will be if you've created a slipstreamed SP2 disc.

True enough, Crissy. It's something most people sophisticated enough to be here should probably look into, though. Personally, I never install a service pack before slipstreaming it, and then just do a clean install.

I downloaded the UnitedFPwb skin and installed it (a great skin by the way!) My start menu has the same font I see in your screenshot (appears to be "Dungeaon" font), so I dont think this has anything to do with the font in your WB config dialog . Some of the names in your start menu being cut off is probably more a margin setting than anything else. Just out of curiosity, open up your display properties and under the appearance--->advanced--->other advanced controls, see what your default system font is set at. Mine is Tahoma size#8. And maybe check your DPI setting under settings--->advanced. Mine is set to 96 DPI (normal). By the way, a slipstreamed cd is a cd of an OS setup program with the service packs and/or hotfixes burned or (slipstreamed) into the cd to make it part of the setup prog.

With all due respect, until the other problems have been weeded out like system font, DPI screen res etc, then I still believe a repair is a drastic option. And if SP2 is installed then the automatic repair wont even be avail. (The manual at a c: promt will still be avail) If it were me, after checking the above mentioned things, I would use system file checker before I do a repair install.

Oh, that repair. I tried that when you said to 'repair' my system, but I went to the C: promp. And I checked and my DPI is at 96. Also I do not have that button error in UnitedFPwb.
