DesktopX 3 lets users take total control over their Windows desktop. Add desktop objects, widgets, or create entirely new desktops.

DesktopX is very powerful but at the same time, it's quite easy to use.  It has thousands of objects, themes, and widgets available to end users.  But to a new user, all this stuff may seem difficult to get into.

To that end, Alberto has put together a new on-line manual for DesktopX that lets users learn about all the things they can do with DesktopX as well as show how to create their own stuff.

DesktopX comes with Object Desktop or can be downloaded on its own at www.desktopx.net.

Check it out and see what you can do!

I wouldn't click on the first resource link on the resouce document.

Thanks for the update. It'll keep me busy for a while.

This new format is great, thanks for all the work, this will make it alot easyer to look things up as I learn DX scripting.

I noticed the change last night and it is great. However, but it would be great if this were available as a download too. As it stands the DX3 Pro build doesn't have any docs included, which means that help links from the script editor etc don't work.

Does this mean that there won't be updated pdf files anymore? If so, a search feature would be nice.


Wow yeah it's better. No more 1,000 years of loading Abode Fat Program.

I found Adobe Reader 7 to quite alot faster than the previous one.

If this will help...you can create a trial period at adobe Link and create up to 5 pdf files for free.

Hmm...

How about making it downloadable, but first add search function to it?

A search kinda like google that find matches to misspelled words would be even better.

I save the entire web-page, linked pages and all the my hard drive. Yes, I use a browser to look at it, but it's local. Also, I could put it all together in a word document easily enough.
