Litestep and boxes....

Wednesday, May 4, 2005 by Jafo | Discussion: Skinning

OK...so I've been playing with my own boxes....seeing what they can and cannot do.

Problem is.....Layercuts.dll is 'supposed' to work with boxes....but I can't for the life of me get animations to happen.

Either there's a conflict somewhere or I can't spell 'RTFM'.

Also...I can't destroy a box 'onleftclick'....it seems to need a shortcut set for it instead.

Any theories?...

BTW...Layercuts is 1.72 ....LSbox is 2.95

can´t help you with the problem as i have not used lsbox since quite a while.

xlabel is very cool and should do what you need.

other option: doing the animations with a calc measure in Rainmeter. (very simple) example: the ticking colon in my Rewind digital clock http://www.customize.org/details/38865

Hi, moshi...

No...I don't think Rainmeter would do it....Antares III has got pretty intricate animations....and I was 'hoping' to get them all hooked to boxes...looks like xlabel is the only option....and it ain't the simplest module...too many darn options...

If your determined to try xlabel (I use it, its a great mod) be sure to make use of the forums at LS Universe. The X module author frequents the forums and answers questions very promptly.
