Instant Messenger content

Should WinCustomize support IM goodies?

AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Instant Messenger, etc. have all kinds of interesting "goodies" that you can download of them. Avatars, Emoticons, Winks, Backgrounds, etc. And probably even more than we're thinking of.

The question is, should WinCustomize have a section to support these kinds of things? Let us know.

Yep go for it!! I kno that the pot is bubbling with creativity at WC, so lets see wut the elite skinners can do for us. I usually go to Link

for all my MSN needs, but I know that skinners here can do alot better then that. So lets get skinning eh..

I don't use IM very often, but I would like to dress it up when I do use it. What ever the majority of the subscribers want. Go for it!

Have mercy, no IM stuff please! Leave that to the Mess with Messenger-type sites - there's plenty of them out there, besides winks and nudges are eye candy for eye candy's sake unlike skins which we all know can include productivity enhancements, etc.

OK, OK, I know that argument can be shot full of holes - from all kinds of angles, but, but, this is such a nice community and, and it would be really sad to see it go the way of the likes of Mess with Messenger, sniff.

I think it's a good thing to add new things to the site, but I also think it's time to separate them into sections with the Stardock related skins and another section with galleries for all the other skins, graphics, screensavers etc.

It supports all major IMs and there are already a lot of skins out there (see deviantart)

I currently get my Trillian skins from deviantart, and there are some great ones!
Plus, they are ALL FREE and they are created by people like you and me.

A Trillian (including 3.0) section is sorely missing from WinCustomize.

All you people who are saying it would ruin this site, can you explain why deviantart hasn't been hurt by including Trillian??? I'd love to understand your logic here.

I think it would be nice to see a liitle more added to the library! MSN Messenger, Trillian, Avedesk!
I think it would also attract a lot more people to this site......... but more people means more paying customers!
And also slower load times for us! P.S. Deviantart is definately a better site than this for getting skinned!

O c'mon, deviantart isnt all THAT great ...
Almost everyone who submits here......
also submit to deviantart!!!! And they have 10 times the number of skin sections!
