Should WinCustomize support IM goodies?
Sunday, April 10, 2005 by Frogboy | Discussion: WinCustomize News
AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Instant Messenger, etc. have all kinds of interesting "goodies" that you can download of them. Avatars, Emoticons, Winks, Backgrounds, etc. And probably even more than we're thinking of.
The question is, should WinCustomize have a section to support these kinds of things? Let us know.

Usually are not free. It WOULD be nice to have a section with subsections (much more organized than the other sections) for each type.

On that note, I don't think Wincustomize should not support any 3rd party IM clients which do not use their own network, espically those that sell their product.

(perhaps the best way to encourage skinning for IM apps would be to make a custom front end for them that users could skin)

If the above is true, I would say go for it - and include all instant message programs that can be skinned in the gallery! Might as well serve up goodies for all tastes.
