I usually have it on a desk anyhow. Plus I wanted a nice big screen so I can see as much stuff as possible. Comes in handy when working on graphics or websites.

If you hook it up to a projector.. That'll be a mess.
And they also dont have the same ratio as widescreen DVDs so they would look junky too. Dont listen to brands advertising playing widescreen DVDs.
