Tree Viewer: where did it go?

Saturday, March 26, 2005 by Pyramid36 | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

I had a copy of Tree viewer and recently discovered that I uninstalled it for some reason. Now I can't find it on either Stardock or WinCustomize and it's not listed in my version of Stardock Central. It was very useful and I'd sure like to get another copy.

Make sure you tell SDC to show beta versions, because sadly, it never made it out of beta (and never will).

I found that program pretty handy. I used it for a while and then it expired?!?! I found that kind of strange becuase it's an ODNT app.

It's been updated to expire way into the future, though everything else is exactly the same. Brad says it will probably never be updated again, sadly.

Thanks everyone. Turning on the Beta switch got it back on the menu.

Too bad about it never getting out of Beta. I found it to be very useful. Was any reason given for not going forward and do users have any say so vis a vis what goes "live" or not? Given the chance, I'd vote for getting it out of Beta.
