Pointless Criticism
Judge not lest ye be judged

Since when has age been an issue on this wonderful medium called the internet? Aside from the obvious and blaring legal ramifications of age, one should remeber that on the internet, intellect is the sole source of clout that earns one respect. I don't mean intellect merely in the sense of "smarts", but also skill, eloquence, and discretion, the latter of which is the reason for this quasi-rant.
I was reading through some reviews when I found some boorish remarks by and obviously mislead individual. Such remarks never earn anyone a shred of respect because destructive criticism more often than not implies insecurity and ineptitude on the criticisers part. Such comments should be left on shady flame-posts and less reputable forums.
Moreover, I found the works in question to be perfectly ok as far as quality goes, not that a lack of quality should call for such blatant dissing. In closing, I have but this to say: Keep it clean people.

The term "Idiot" is really mild in comparison..and might it be a name or a title the individual has earned?
Anyway..I am caught in the middle of this argument..both of you are correct in my opinion..I am afraid that my own imaturity would get the better of me as well in this case..::nods::
Zero.

It's like spanking a child for hitting. You create a cycle of aggressiveness. Where does it end? When the biggest and smartest outhit, or outwit the other?

Some have the ability to "Let it be" but some are a bit more passionate and actually need to "let it out"..
I am not being sarcastic in any way shape or form..(I was misunderstood in another post..need to put the disclaimer in..LoL)
I agree 100% with you,
I simply am not at your level,

Believe me, I've done my share of getting angry and name calling, too. I've done so usually as an instinctual/defensive act, which most people do. And I agree that it certainly does make you feel better at the time to "let it out," but in the long run, it really only causes more hard feelings and less understanding.
You'll have to forgive me. I'm a preschool teacher and I deal with social skills daily. I'll get off my soapbox now! LOL!

I suppose some things will remain a mystery however...
I think we all have done our share of "Name calling" at one time or another, passing judgement upon those that we do not approve of.. It's nice to think that we all can control our emotions a 100% of the time and do away with the pettiness and bickering that emerges from strong beliefs or differences of opinions. It has been a dream of many to do so..."I would like to change the world" by 10 years after is a good example of those sentiments being expressed over 20 years ago.
Your input here is valuable 47 songs, for people like myself that can admit to not being on your level, at least I can stop and reflect on your sentiments and strive towards that goal when a situation arises that I find myself about to "Burst" with all kinds of un-necessary reactions that will only escalate situations to their worst possible state..But for that to happen one has to actually care enough to try..
And then there is the anger, passion and reward of feeling a whole lot better after delivering your destructive sentiments in a given situation...
Ah well, life goes on..
And age is a state of mind!, your only as old as you surrender to being, I simply refuse to ever grow old!..::laughs::
Take care,
Zero.

I agree that we may never know the reason for the initial verbal attack. All we can really do is to try to react the best way we know how or are capable of at the time.
Take care, yourself,
