I have seen serveral good wallpapers floating around the net, but if you're looking for a WB skin or something else, you could use anything that goes with the wallpaper you found. Now, if someone out there wants to make one based on the movie, that would be cool. I've seen both movies and have the two soundtracks they released on the first movie. I would like to see a WB skin that is based on it too.

The movie "Hackers" is good entertainment, you cant help rooting for the kids, they arent a bad bunch and they are getting unjustly accused of crimes they had nothing to do with..
But it is a movie, that glorifies hacking to a certain extent, a bit of a double standard I suppose.
I can see how someone could get interested in it after watching the movie, but, just like those old horror films that used to scare the dog-snot out of us when we were kids..It is just a movie.
Zero.

The request was polite....some of the responses were not.
Seems some people should grow up a little.

::laughs and nods::
All joking aside, your right Jafo, and I apologized for my own unwarranted remarks and offered what I could in lui of the request.
I do think what "rubbed" me the wrong way this morning was exactly what Cyberworld pointed out
**The trick is to grow-up and get over it. If this is a fair request of a skin about hacking then why the advertising text below?**
If it were not for that, I personally would have not thought much of it..I agree with Cyberworld, that portion of the request was un-necessary..as were alot of the replies that followed.
Anyway, "Woulda, shoulda, coulda" it's a done deal now, may as well move on.
Zero.

| What's wrong with english? |
Absolutely English rox0rz, of course being a proper noun it begins with a capital.
Then we get into a whole World of acceptable English or not and before you know it someone's claiming that their version is best. Next thing you know, there's grammar snobbery and folks claiming that they're part of some elite.

| hax0r, h4x0r, "hacker", where the symbols are used to draw rough approximations to letters: >< is an "x", |2 is an "r". It is possible that the substitution of "ck" with "x" is a linguistic nod to the Greek letter chi (see TeX for the original example of this). Also, Haxor is sometimes found as "Haxxor", as symbols for "x" are often doubled |
And I thought I had trouble following C++ syntax.

and everyone talkin shit about hackers? we are hackers, one of the old-school definitions of the hacker is:
1. a person who enjoys exploring the details of programmable systems, and how to stretch their capabilities, as opposed to most users, who prefer to learn only the minimum necessary...
look at dictionary.com
thats what we are doing. anyway, anyone else got anything to add to the suite? i have the theme, the winblinds, and the objectbar almost done. workin on all three simultaneously, and if anyone could get me an icon package and a curser thing goin on, that would be great, if i was to do it, it would look like shit. im tryin to get it put out, but it will ony get put out when its all complete...

| The word 'Hacker' doesnt draw a positive reaction in people, |
I remember when all that 'hacking' actually meant that you weren't afraid to open your CB radio and tweak it to squeeze some more range out of it.
In the early computer days (I'm talking pre Apple II, IBM PC or any of those) hackers were respected for being able to make their machines out-perform the standard - sort of like overclocking is now.
Hell, I was pretty chuffed when I hacked my HP41C calculator and doubled it's RAM!
