America vs Canada

On this site it seems like America tottal takes over, their are millions of Canadians that come on this site looking for downloads, but most of the Widgets/Themes/DesktopX's are all based on the fact they think ONLY Americans will be downloading them. Everything I have downloaded on this site so far that requires a area code, only takes American postal codes, like the weather bot, or the local movies widget, it only takes American Postal Codes, so they won't work for Canadians, i think this is very unfair.

I'm of Anglo-saxon stock (a limey), but I now live in Australia and have not come across the problem the Canuck has. I have tried several weather widgets and found all to accomodate counties worldwide, including Canada where you know it's gonna be cold anyhow. So wots the prob, unless El nino takes a sharp turn your way? Could understand the need then.
And I can't agree with beefbaby that yanks and canucks have the best relationship ever recorded. My mother likes me: and I once got on famously with a frog and a curry muncher in limeyland. Besides, Australia and New Zealand have one of the best relationships in the known universe, as well as some very strong rivalries, always contested in good spirits, both sides, and the way it should be everywhere.
Here, I am called a pommie, and im the U.S. I'm a Limey, but so what, I only get upset when called late for dinner. If all nations and races could cop it on the chin like this, the world would be a much better place. However, there's no need for derogatory remarks or downright insults, and Jack Doners should be ashamed of himself, there was no need for that.
So Jafo, where d'ya git the Aussie strine? S'prised me some to see it here: roos loose in the top paddock n' all. Anyhow, G'day sport
My long winded point here is this: the last time I looked, this was a skin site, not the U.N, so how about we leave the international unpleasantries out and site issues in. Perhaps, as an international community, we can be world leaders in promoting peace among all men, women too.

An apology to anyone who is offended by the tongue in cheek slang terms used for national identity, none was intended.

Any 'unpleasantries' were long gone....two months ago....

...until master starkers thunk it was a new topic worth dragging from the crypt.  What say we look at dates first, and comment second.

This old-thread revival does unfairly displace the newer, more relevant ones.

One 'revival' or two would be OK...a whole swag of them perhaps not....

IMO.... it don't matter wher ya were born.. what color ya are .. etc... i got friends from all over canada, america,OZ,.. hell even a few from walmart ... .. a coo person, is a coo person, no matter where they came from or whatever...to not like a person based on their birth place or color .etc. pretty much keeps you from meeting some really interesting people. its a shame in todays society that hate and bigotry still is alive.. im proud to be an american.. yes .. but i would not put anothers country down...everybody should be allowed to be proud of their homeland. wave your flags proudly everybody ..each nation has fought to keep their way of life. to belittle anothers country dishonors those who have died fighting for what they believe...


this is just my 2 cents ......
